/ Information:
I am a Systems Engineer and Administrator specializing in virtualization infrastructure with various network server operating systems and technologies, Windows and UNIX derivatives. I recently held a senior engineering position for the University System of Georgia, but as of 2012 I work for Red Hat Inc. I use Red Hat, BSD, CentOS, Darwin/OSX and HP-UX.
While my primary focus is on Red Hat Linux Systems and other UNIX and UNIX-like operating systems, I work with KVM virtualization, VMWare, and Citrix systems often as well. In past lives I have been an entrepreneur, graphic and web designer, consultant, systems engineer, and a systems programmer and integrator managing a small team of programmers and engineers in high impact enterprise computing environments.
I hold a Master of Public Administration from Valdosta State University, a BA in History & Political Science specializing in Classical and World History and governmental histories, and I am a Red Hat Certified Engineer.
I enjoy running, spending time with my dog Ares, my friends, and various genres of music ranging from classical to techno.
